The Throsby Family have been processing livestock in the Hunter Valley for over 50 years from 1951, with our stylish location in, Singleton in the Hunter Valley commencing operations in 200. E C Throsby is a progressive beef packer whose products are marketed worldwide. We focus on producing beef products, to the highest food safety standard. Our livestock are sourced from local and interstate producers. Our processing areas include state of the art equipment and machinery and have utilized technology to enhance and clarify the process, in turn increasing capacity. All of these were constructed and designed to ensure lofty productivity with minimal impact on operators and the environment. We also process Parched Blood through a coagulator and then through a Keith Ring Dryer. The products are available to both domestic and export markets. Our location in the Hunter Valley offers adequate opportunities, spontaneous attractions and a important array of entertainment. E.C.Throsby Pt Limited has a fully integrated Quality Assurance System that monitors all aspects of the people, process and product to assure the company, customers and regulatory authorities that the quality of the last product is of the highest standard. Microbiological testing is performed on product, process equipment and surfaces to verify that operations, including the cleaning have been conducted as stated in the Quality System. We take the utmost pride in adhering to all aspects of customer, country and religious requirements and delivering the greatest quality product to the customer. These exports consist mainly of Bulk Pack Manufacturing Beef destined for the grinding market and beef cuts and offal for the Asian Markets. The Plant has been constructed with an aesthetic intent. The cultivation of crops is an essential segment of the Environmental cycle. We value long term relationships and are very elated of all the ones we have forged. We buy slaughter and process all descriptions of livestock, concentrating on cows and bulls for the export beef market. Our cattle are mainly sourced from producers directly and also from local and interstate sale yards. We are happy to buy cattle below direct weight at works pricing, live weight or on a dollar per head basis. Specific customers also audit our Animal Welfare procedures to ensure we maintain the uppermost standard possible. We can also arrange transport of livestock with our own accredited fleet of livestock trucks.
